For girls and guys there is theXchange, a free 24/7 unlimited chat app that uses the iPhone's built in GPS to locate other people with the app in your area. You can view people by gender and find locals who are interested in hooking up!
For gay, bi and curious guys there is Grindr, an app especially just for men that also uses the iPhone's GPS to tell you how far other local guys are from you in terms of feet or miles. You can send your exact location to other guys (don't worry, it doesn't show exactly where you are unless you want to share it), send pictures or chat with other guys in the area.
